This highly regarded international law firm seeks a 5PQE+ UK lawyer / PSL to provide professional support to the Banking and Finance groups on a full time basis.
THE ROLE
Our client's team of professional support lawyers play a leading and critical role in development of the group through a combination of know-how, precedent and training functions. This is a wide ranging banking and finance role and would suit a confident, experienced lawyer who could cover law, regulation and practice in the following key subject areas:
1 Debt capital markets
2 Structured finance (including Securitisation and CLOs)
3 Restructuring and insolvency
4 Acquisition and leveraged finance
5 Fund finance
6 Derivatives
This role still allows for some client contact, for example in relation to education, updating or other business development activities or in respect of specific advisory matters.
THE PERSON
Although it is not expected that the candidate would have expertise in all of the above areas, you should be able to demonstrate experience in at least 3 of the areas and structured finance experience is of particular interest. In addition you must have a good academic background and 5PQE+ gained with a UK firm highly ranked for it's banking and finance practice. In addition to your technical skills, this role requires self motivation and interest in and committment to providing high quality technical legal support in a practical context to fee earners at all levels and keeping abreast of legal, regulatory and market developments.Lipson Lloyd Jones Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
