SENIOR COSTS DRAFTSPERSON - DERBYSHIRE

This opportunity is within UK`s leading Solicitors Practice specialising in Costs in the Derbyshire area. A progressive Practice that houses a team of highly skilled Law Costs Draftsmen which provide a nationwide service; Committed to finding individual costs solutions for each client to provide a comprehensive individually tailored solution for each client.
THE ROLE
Our Client is actively seeking an experienced and talented Senior Cost Draftsperson with management experience to join their team based in Derbyshire. The practice currently provides Costs services in Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence and Commercial Litigation so experience in one or more of these fields is essential. The successful candidate should have recent and proven technical ability in the relevant areas as the practice offers you a technical based role. Successful and proven ability of drafting, negotiation and advocacy is essential in this role. The successful candidate will be required to build and maintain lasting working relationships with colleagues and clients and must have the knowledge and ability to ensure that the workflow and procedures are strictly adhered to. The role will include providing technical advice and supervision to junior members of the team.
ABOUT YOU
You must have strong academics of degree calibre.
You must have 5 - 20 years or more Costs experience and also have a number of years` experience in the management/ leadership of a team.
You must have proven technical ability with experience of drafting, negotiation and advocacy. This is essential.
Experience within one or more matters of law is essential, including Clinical Negligence, Personal Injury and Commercial Litigation.
You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
A desire to progress is essential as there are career progression opportunities and training available.
