Disputes (Banking Litigation) Senior Associate, the City
A Disputes (Banking Litigation) Senior Associate is required for a fantastic opportunity with a leading international law firm based in the City delivering a salary of up to £100,000.
My client is considered a market leader and operates out of Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Their specialisms are Dispute Resolution and Corporate and they are renowned for the high value transactional advice they give. They serve global and national businesses, are famed for their technical and commercial expertise and are often called upon to deal with very complex cases.
You will be part of the Banking Litigation practice which is encompassed within the wider Dispute Resolution practice. You will be focusing on large scale disputes involving; breach of contract, miss-selling, fraud, professional negligence, valuation disputes and enforcement actions. You will be working closely with the Financial Services Regulatory and, Capital Markets and Banking practices. You will act on an increasing number of international cases and you will be instructed to adopt the role of Co-ordinator for complex and cross-jurisdictional matters. You will enjoy exposure to the whole breadth of finance litigation including contentious regulatory investigations, financial crime, litigation and public law.
You will have a minimum of four years' experience across the broad range of banking litigation. Additional experience in financial services regulatory investigations, financial crime or public law would be beneficial. Academic excellence is essential; I would expect you to have at least a 2:1 degree.
