BANKING DERIVATIVES
SENIOR ASSOCIATE / PARTNER PROSPECT
INTERNATIONAL LAW FIRM
LONDON CITY
A key recruit, this Senior Associate will assist in building this Finance Group's already strong name in this area, working in close conjunction with the Finance, Corporate, Tax, Pensions and Financial Services departments.
The right individual will possess the skills required to drive the business forward and as such, will play a key role in:
· Maintaining & enhancing the teams' profile & standing in the market & maintaining & strengthening its market share;
· Managing, servicing & growing the client base;
· Securing new mandates from key clients;
· Playing a pivotal role in taking the department into new & strategically important areas of business
The Team's Clients are internationally based & global derivatives expertise at the firm can be found in various international offices around the world.
The firm's current strategy offers great potential in the emerging markets, particularly in the Middle East and Russia. In addition, the firm is also focusing key institutional clients, as well as focusing on various niche areas in this field such as pensions &/or carbon trading.
You
Will have a wide ranging skill set, preferably encompassing as many as possible of:
· Interest rates/currencies
· Equity derivatives
· Credit derivatives
· Commodities
· Emissions
· Repo and stock lending
· Custody
· Pricing and related issues
There is no requirement of a client following, as the purpose of this recruitment is to service and manage a consistently developing caseload.
