Our client a leading International Law firm is seeking to recruit an Associate circa 4-7PQE to join the Finance / Banking TEAM.
The TEAM is predominantly bank led & focused on Real Estate Finance. In addition, the group supports a substantial private equity practice.
YOU will have the opportunity to work with a number of LEADING PARTNERS on a variety of finance matters.
YOU will be involved in a very high level of client contact (specifically bank clients) & there will be strong involvement in strategic business development & the opportunity to join core teams regularly acting for banks.
Secondments to Clients & secondments to international offices are encouraged in the TEAM, & therefore YOU should be willing to be involved in this type of opportunity.
The TEAM's focus includes real estate finance, acquisition finance, asset/project finance, mortgage trading, financial services, Islamic finance & restructuring.
To be successful YOU will be comfortable in working as part of a team, as well as managing matters & clients independently, with minimal supervision where appropriate.
YOU will also be expected to delegate to & assist in the supervision of more junior members of the team.
YOU will have experience gained at a top tier finance practice and have strong technical skills in general finance and in particular one or more of the following:-
· Property finance,
· Acquisition finance,
· capital markets,
· securitisation,
· PFI/PPP,
· Islamic finance.
Strong drafting skills, the ability to work both independently & in conjunction with PARTNERS, as well as a commercial focus & excellent client management & relationship skills will be required.
Language skills will be a REAL BONUS!
