Job Description

The Infrastructure, Commodities and Mining team within the Banking practice of this leading City practice with a truly global reach, comprises three partners, 12 associates, two trainees and two paralegals. Over the last few years the team has increasingly focused on transaction work outside the UK and this comprises about 70 per cent of the current workload. They have a strong position in the domestic PPP market, in particular, in the education, health and social housing sectors, but increasingly they are focusing on emerging markets and international infrastructure. Their mining practice is regularly ranked as a tier one practice and continues to grow. Their commodities specialists advise the leading banks on trade finance deals for food targeting Africa and the CIS. They are looking to grow the practice and are looking for entrepreneurial lawyers at partner, senior associate and mid-level associate level. These lawyers will come from the following backgrounds: - Project Finance - Commodity finance - Infrastructure - Construction Language skills are preferred, in particular Russian, French and Spanish.
