Leading National Law Firm seek a banking paralegal to assist fee earners on both pre and post completion matters.
The duties of this role will include -
Registration of security documents at Companies House and reviewing and gathering current and up to date information on all aspects of the companies
Serving relevant post completion notices and chasing up regularly any unacknowledged notice if necessary
Completing and submitting land registry applications for registered and unregistered title
Dealing with any requisitions raised by the land registry to enable perfection of security;
Submitting stamp duty land transaction returns to the inland revenue where appropriate
Investigating title including incorporation documents
Legal Research using the internet, Intranet, legal search engines and legal journals to research case law
Drafting agreements
Creating bible of completion documents
Experience within a banking, corporate or commercial legal team would present a distinct advantage, however, outstanding academics and enthusiasm may suffice.
