Job Description

FINANCE MANAGER - HAMPSHIRE

General practice, 6 office, 8 partner firm seeks Finance Manager to oversee day to day runnning of their Accounts Department including actioning reports, month end procedures, routing and adhoc reports for partners, attending partners meetings and presenting financial information. Analysing nominal income and expenditure, monitoring cash flow, negotiating and managing use of the firm's banking facility and organising financing for firm expenditure. collating and producing budgets, preparing capital expenditure information and maintaining fixed assets records, processing the monthly payroll, completing PAYE returns, producing P60s & P11Ds and salary review preparation and implementation and administering employee benefits e.g pension, death in service benefit, childcare voucher scheme etc. Ensuring compliance with SARs, Inland Revenue, LSC etc., developing and implementing procedures. Liaising and negotiating with service providers i.e. insurers, utilities, maintenance contractors etc and co-ordinating visits / inspections. Overseeing the maintenance function and staff and co-ordinating office maintenance projects. Managing the staff within the Accounts and Maintenance departments including, recruitment, training, staff meetings, delegation, performance monitoring / review and discipline.
Use of systems Arista, Sage and Excel.
