A Finance Manager is required to manage the Finance, IT and Partnership Admissions functions, to contribute to strategy and assist the Partners in understanding their business and in making commercial decisions.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Process and compliance
Finance, Information Technology & Partnership Administration
Management of the Accounts Department, including cashiers, credit control, payroll and purchase ledger functions
Ensure full compliance with Solicitors' Accounts Rules
Control and monitoring of daily cash flows and working capital
Produce annual budgets, monthly management accounts
Develop and implement financial risk management procedures
Implement system of continuous business performance improvement and systems development
Agent of Change:
Identify and develop strategic options
Identify business performance improvement opportunities
Direct Partners to those areas of greatest potential return
Help Partners to understand their business and enable them to make better commercial
decisions
Management & Strategic development of IT
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Qualified Accountant
Excellent IT skills
Able to demonstrate experience of advisory businesses on commercial decisions
Strategic thinker
Clear communicator
Good analytical skills
Management experience
Strong influencing and negotiation skills
Ability to produce clear, concise reports at an appropriate level
