Project finance has established itself as a major means of funding large-scale developments in the private and quasi-public sectors. Most major public development projects now involve a collaboration of government and private funding or expertise. This leading City firm's project finance team has considerable worldwide expertise in the development and funding of large-scale projects on both a stand-alone and full recourse basis across industrialised and developing nations. Its experience extends to advising funders, consortia and producers in a variety of sectors, including production facilities, energy, oil and gas, waste, transport and telecommunications.
They have been involved in PFI/PPP from the outset and have enormous experience acting for both the public and private sector, investors and funders in projects across all areas, including accommodation, hospitals and health, education, defence, local government, roads and urban regeneration. They have also advised on a number of schemes aimed at adapting PFI structures for the corporate market.
They are now seeking a talented and ambitious lawyer who is interested in working for some of the biggest clients in the industry, which will include considerable exposure to the expanding international portfolio.
