A leading City organisation is looking for a Financial Services/ Payments/ Funds lawyers.
The Financial Services team includes lawyers who have previously worked within, or been seconded to, financial institutions. Their client base of financial institutions includes retail, commercial and investment banks, private equity houses, venture capitalists, hedge funds and fund managers, insurance and reinsurance companies, insurance intermediaries and financial advisers.
They have opportunities for candidates with experience of Financial Services Regulation, Payments and/or Funds. Your experience in all or one of these areas will have been gained within a recognised private practice or in-house team. You will have a flair for research and exacting analysis of detail which is then translated into a commercial context in clear written and spoken forms. Drafting precision in both advice and contractual documentation is also a key skill. You will have a strong, demonstrable appetite to absorb the range of applicable law and regulation and to make a future in this specialist, increasingly important area and growing team. More experienced applicants will have examples of business development and marketing.
The role will involve a broad range of work researching and assisting the team in advising on financial services and other regulation of various client business activities.
