THE FIRM Our client has been based in the City of London for more than 150 years. They are recognised as a medium-sized niche firm specialising in commercial / corporate, civil litigation, community housing, employment, projects and property. Over the past few years they have grown significantly and now have approximately 180 staff. THE ROLE The successful candidate wil be responsible for the day to day running of files to include, but not limited, to, acting for both lenders and borrowers in connection with: ·loan facilities for housing associations (including lending within housing association groups) ·PFI financing ·joint ventures/LLP's ·security arrangement in connection with the above ABOUT YOU You will be a senior Solicitor with experience of either banking, corporate or projects work, ideally within the RSL sector. Charity law, housing association law and regulation experience would also be an advantage, but not essential ·You will have a strong academic background, ideally gaining a 2:1 at degree level ·Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal ·Excellent drafting skills, particularly in relation to loan agreements and security documentation Lipson Lloyd Jones Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
