BANKING (DERIVATIVES) LAWYER - LONDON CITY
Leading international legal practice with a strong and fast-expanding derivatives practice seeks experienced Derivatives Lawyers to join team.
Growth in the practice and in particular in the volume of instructions on structured derivatives transactions has led to a need for one or more experienced associates with a strong derivatives background from a reputable legal practice.
A feature of the practice over the last year has been the number of leading investment banks from which we are receiving substantial instructions on high value structured products work. Areas in which we have been particularly busy are structured equity and credit derivative products, emerging market access transactions and Islamically compliant structured derivative products. Much of this work has been innovative, especially in the rapidly expanding area of Islamically compliant derivative products. We have advised a number of investment banks on establishing programmes for these products, including Citibank as arranger under the Oasis certificate issuance programme
We are also active in the developing product areas of insurance derivatives/alternative risk transfer products, and energy and carbon trading, in each of which areas the firm has leading practices with which we work closely.
Candidate Profile
You will have strong experience in derivatives from a leading private practice.
We are looking for hardworking individuals who are able to work with a growing volume of high quality clients.
