My client, a well known and very reputable law firm based in Cardiff City Centre are looking to recruit a Solicitor / Associate to join their busy Legal Systems Group department.

The role is in our Legal Systems Group which services repeat instructions for financial institutions. The role has arisen due to the growth of our insurance team. The team undertakes all aspects of dispute resolution on property claims for household and commercial insurers. The focus of the team is recoveries, particularly subrogated recoveries, for top 10 household insurers.

Reporting to an experienced Associate you will have conduct of your own file load of large value subrogated recoveries and be responsible for managing up to 3 less experienced solicitors and legal executives. Ambition and hard work is rewarded by good career development opportunities.

Your duties will include:

• Conduct of high value case load
• Supervision of team
• Supporting marketing initiatives
• Making effective use of case management systems and Management information
• Performance management and appraisal of team

You MUST be a solicitor with at least 4 yrs PQE, you can be an Associate or being looking to become an Associate.
