DRAFTSPERSON/COSTS NEGOTIATOR - BEDS/BUCKS or NORTHANTS

Niche family law firm with offices based in Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire are desperately looking for an in-house Costs Draftsman / Negotiator to join their rapidly expanding firm.

The Job
Responsible for the payment of cases once completed from Claim 1 to Bill of Costs to final payment received from the Legal Services Commission
Be required to ensure regular payments are received from the LSC by way of disbursements and profit cost claims
Previous experience working as a Costs Draftsperson in family matters and a well-rounded knowledge of the Legal Aid system is preferable
This position can be based at any of our 3 offices, based on the preference of the candidate.
