Our client is a top 50 City legal practice with an International presence. They offer a wide range of services to a variety of business sectors and boast an impressive client base of International, FTSE and AIM-listed businesses as well as government bodies and high net worth individuals.
In 2007 they officially opened their prestigious Middle East Office. The office has had a successful first year of operation and the aim now is to double in size in the next 12 months.
A majority of the work handled is based around corporate/commercial transactions but is not limited to this. This opportunity requires a dynamic and commercially focused individual that is keen to take their career to the next level. As Head of the Middle East Office you will lead, develop and implement the strategy for the growth of the legal services and client base in the Middle East.
This role requires someone who is adept in business development and capable of driving the team forward, there is an element of fee earning but essentially the ideal person will be an excellent client developer, team leader and capable of overseeing the wider aspects of heading up an office.
Some knowledge of the Middle East would of course be helpful, as would Arabic language skills, but neither are essential. Given the skills and experience required, you will be a senior solicitor and ideally from a Corporate/Commercial background with proven leadership and business development skills.
Remuneration package is very attractive and assistance will be provided for relocation, you must be able to commit to a minimum of 3 years in the Middle East.
