Challenging Banking NQ role with leading firm to suit bright 2008 qualifier.
Join the formidable banking unit of this recognised commercial player in Birmingham. The team acts for a number of household name clients and sits on several prestigious panels, handling the full spectrum of banking and finance work including structured finance, acquisition and asset finance and property finance. The team worked on almost 300 deals worth an estimated £2billion in 2007.
You'll have a keen interest in specialising in banking and whilst relevant experience gained throughout your training contract would be advantageous, applications from those who have undertaken a corporate finance or other general commercial seat and wish to change direction would be welcomed.
Working in a well balanced and friendly team of 10 lawyers you will be afforded strong support and training as well as the opportunity to work on larger deals under the direction of more senior team members. Equally, you'll take ownership of your own work and have scope to become involved in a truly broad range of matters - important for any newly qualified or junior lawyer.
The firm is well-known as an employer of choice and looks after the personal and professional welfare of their lawyers, offering an excellent and comprehensive benefits package.
