NQ Solicitor-Shipping, Newcastle
Our client, a large international practice are seeking a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join the Shipping team in the Newcastle office. Salary competitive rate
A leading international practice, my client is a full service law firm acting for both the public and private sector. Joining a team recognised by the Lawyer magazine as part of the "Litigation Elite," their team of experts act for major clients throughout the world.
Joining the shipping team in Newcastle, you will provide support on a wide variety of transactions. You will regularly deal with large-scale matters involving multiple jurisdictions for multi-nationals and ensure deals are delivered on time and problems resolved in a straightforward and commercial manner. You will be acting for governments, public bodies, multinational and major national corporations and international contractors. You will also be encouraged to get involved in marketing activities.
The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills and excellent academic qualifications. In addition you will be able to demonstrate exceptional organisation skills as well as high attention to detail. You will provide a first rate client service both internally and externally. You should be a team player, client focused and a good communicator with a strong practical approach to your workload. A commitment of delivering quality service is essential, as is the ability to juggle the demands of a heavy workload.
