Farnborough - Hampshire
BAE Systems, the Premier Global Defence and Aerospace Company is seeking a Compliance & Regulation Counsel to join its legal team in Farnborough.
As part of a team supporting the Chief Counsel for Compliance and Regulation you will play a significant role in the development and operation of the compliance team, providing a world class service to the Group in connection with all compliance matters. You will be involved in embedding principle-based compliance and the management of non-financial risk into the heart of the business. The role is varied and includes performing investigations, due diligence work, contracts, claims, managing regulatory investigations, training and M&A support.
The successful applicant will be a qualified lawyer experienced in either the conduct of litigation, commercial contracts, or mergers and acquisitions in an international environment. Having gained your experience in a leading law firm or appropriate in-house organisation you will be a self motivated and commercially astute lawyer. Experience in compliance related work and training skills would be advantageous, but is not essential.
