Job Description

This leading practice is actively looking to add a mid level assistant with wet claims handling experience. Dry litigators with some wet experience are also invited to apply. Here you will regularly be involved in the most significant, high-value maritime matters in the world. The team has an impressive complement of more than 80 lawyers in London, with greater numbers worldwide, working with predominantly hull underwriting or chartering clients. Assistance on casualties is a strength, notwithstanding the general decrease in the number of major incidents. The size of the more significant casualties on which it is instructed is more than sufficient to maintain a large, multi-jurisdictional team. Its strong wet unit combines legal specialists and a number of master mariners to collaborate on jurisdictional, tactical and evidential concerns. There is no better opportunity in the market.
