Job Description
A Commercial Solicitor with Asset Finance and Aviation experience is required to join a Crawley (West Sussex) firm. Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating aircraft sale and purchase agreements and reviewing the associated financial documents
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating aircraft and engine leases
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating facility agreements, term loans, LMA based term facilities, revolving facility agreements, intercreditor agreements and security packages
- Acting for parts companies on the drafting and negotiation of agreements relating to component supply including exchange, leases and "Power by the Hour" agreements
- Acting for aviation clients on the outsourcing of a variety of services including catering, marketing and the supply of various goods and services
- Managing a large and varied caseload with a strong commercial approach
- Playing an active role in building the business; developing marketing initiatives and drawing on existing contacts
The chosen candidate will have at least 3-4 years post qualification experience of commercial law with a particular bias toward aviation work, including transactional, regulatory and finance experience as well as a working knowledge of the LMA forms of facility agreement and ancillary documentation.
