Job Description

Offshore law firm providing legal services to local and international organisations require a lawyer from 2 years` PQE to join an existing team, partner led, to advise clients upon a wide range of commercial and corporate matters. The successful applicant will have trained in a recognised commercial or corporate firm with training taken in seats such as corporate, corporate recovery, corporate transactions, banking, corporate finance, company commercial or corporate funds. As part of a team including arrange of experience you will encounter high quality and varied work such as mergers and acquisition with responsibility for all aspects of transactions involving £10+ million, company restructuring with associated documentation such as sale or purchase agreements, advising international finance institution on lending agreements as well as drafting security & due diligence agreements, establishing funds and undertaking regulatory as well as compliance work. Salary dependent upon experience £60,000 to £75,000. The Channel Islands comprise of two main populated islands Jersey and Guernsey with the former being the most southerly island in the British Isles approximate nine by five miles with a population of 85,000+, Guernsey is slightly smaller and less populated with around 60,000 people. Both Islands are known not only for outstanding natural beauty, but also its renowned offshore financial industry. Self-governed by their States, they have inherent and highly regarded health service, which works closely with centres of excellence in the UK.
