NEW CONSTRUCTION LITIGATION
LAWYER / SOLICITOR
LONDON
Legal Works client a respected specialist national commercial law firm with an increasing international flavour and a recognised expertise in construction related disputes is seeking to recruit an experienced solicitor to join the team.
The firm has a deserved reputation for a strong collegiate working environment and an exemplary record for developing their lawyers to partnership.
THE TEAM
Has handled well in excess of 100 adjudications for clients on construction and related disputes and can assemble experienced partner-led teams at short notice in order to comply with the demanding timescales imposed.
Whether the mode of dispute resolution is adjudication, mediation, arbitration or litigation, the TEAM seeks to understand clients' objectives and strives to achieve commercially advantageous solutions.
Recent projects on which the TEAM has worked on include:
· Major delay and disruption claim for a client in relation to an international sports stadium involving both adjudications and litigation in the Technology and Construction Court;
· Adjudication of dispute in bridge project in South America under FIDIC conditions;
· Adjudication and successful recovery of £2.4m professional fees due to consultant on UK PFI hospital project
THE OPPORTUNITY
· The TEAM has an increasing work load and an opportunity to grow significantly with a number of key clients;
· Lead by a recognised partner with a growing international practice;
· Following a relocation there is a new opportunity for an experienced construction litigation solicitor / lawyer to join the TEAM and get involved with major matters from day one;
· An option and willingness to get involved in the strategic development of the Group;
YOU
· At least 4/5PQE+;
· Hands on experience of construction litigation / arbitration work at recognised practice / team;
· International experience will be of interest;
· Be looking for an opportunity to grow in experience and career;
· Bring added value to the role with experience of dealing with your own substantial cases, leading a project teams, as well as contributing to the TEAM on larger more complex matters.
