Job Description
Construction Solicitor
Our client one of the largest law firms with two locations based in East Anglia and 23 partners . Have an opportunity for an experienced Construction Solicitor to join their busy Construction department.
The ideal candidate will be 5yrs PQE or possible partner. You will be advising on and drafting amendments to all major forms of standard contracts including JCT,NEC, FIDIC AND ICE as well as drafting bespoke construction contracts.
You will have experience of all forms of dispute resolution including adjudication,mediation,claims in TCC and arbitration.
You will need to have acted for Employers, Developers, Contractors,Subcontractors and Consultants on a range of projects.
Experience in and/or willingness to work on projects ranging from small scale disputes relating for example to residential property to multi million pound commercial works both domestic and international is required.
You will be actively involved in marketing by networking with contacts in the construction industry that would be able to introduce potential work .
The ideal candidate would be self motivated and ambitious. Outgoing, well organised and used to working with case management systems.
