Agricultural & Rural Solicitor/Partner - Cheshire

The firm is looking to grow the team with the appointment of a specialist Agricultural Solicitor. The distinct requirement is for a solicitor established in this niche area and ideally, someone who is well connected, entrepreneurial and can help grow the practice.

Location wise, the firm is exceptionally well placed to serve the agricultural, landed and rural communities of Cheshire, North Wales and Shropshire.  

From a multi disciplinary team, a full service is extended to clients including agricultural based commercial transactions, farming partnerships, wealth maintenance and succession, dispute resolutions, Property and Environmental issues. Clients range from landowners, farmers, agricultural suppliers, dairies, sporting and leisure based companies.

In the new appointee, we do not expect expertise in all areas but a combination or range of the following:

• Farm Partnership Agreements
• Agricultural Succession Planning
• Taxation issues
• Farm diversification
• Rights of way, easements and wayleave agreements
• Water supplies and drainage
• Planning controls and Building Regulations
• Land registration and title problems
• Agricultural quotas
• Environmental schemes
• Overage and clawback provisions
• Telecommunications masts and windfarms
• Sporting leases, shooting and fishing rights
