Agricultural Property Solicitor
With several branches across the South West this reputed legal practice require an additional solicitor with agricultural property experience to join their Devon team.
Ideally you will have experience in the sale and acquisition of rural and agricultural property including estates, farms, farmland, woodland, country houses and equestrian properties. The current team advise on purchases by auction, private treaty or tender, secured lending on agricultural property, agricultural tenancies (including the management of existing tenancies, succession and the commencement of new tenancies), single farm payment schemes, environmental stewardship and other agri-environmental and woodland grant schemes as well as covenants and easements affecting land.
You will be a solicitor or Legal Executive ideally with least 3 years experience handling some of the following: residential tenancies (including agricultural occupancy conditions and certificates of lawfulness), business tenancies for office and commercial property lettings, farm business restructuring including limited companies, partnerships, joint ventures, share farming and contracting arrangements, access to land including private rights of way, public rights of way, commons and village greens, planning and land development including clawback arrangements, options, pre-emptions, s.106 agreements, commercial contracts, renewable energy projects, wayleaves and telecommunication sites.
Local candidates in the Devon and Somerset area preferred, but those relocating back to the area and/or with ties in Devon will also be considered.
