Exciting role with one of the leading agricultural law firms in the UK.
Our client is a thriving East Midlands / East of England firm and one of the UK's leading providers of legal advice to agricultural clients including farmers and rural landowners.
Praised by independent commentators as "retaining great strength in this sector" and recognised by the NFU for the quality and depth of advice they provide, the firm's focus on their agricultural clients pervades all areas of the firm.
Led by a partner of national repute and comprising 8 other specialist lawyers, the team handles wide ranging matters including advising on government consultations, helping to reconcile UK and EU farming law and contributing to landmark decisions on milk quotas, time limits, estoppels and land options. They also provide advice on land development schemes, farming tenancies, land tribunals and contractual issues, employment and tax matters and HSE prosecutions.
Client demand has led to the need to find an additional agricultural lawyer to join the team based in Lincolnshire. You will have at least some agricultural experience, perhaps an NQ seeking to specialise in this area or a qualified lawyer with a minimum of 12 months would be ideal. However such is the nature of the department that a lawyer with more experience could easily be accommodated.
Whatever your level of pqe, you'll be joining a friendly, supportive and dynamic team which is rightly judged as one of the leading lights in agricultural law. A fantastic environment in which to further your experience.
