Frances Armstrong Associates LLP is currently seeking a career driven Solicitor with a wide-range of experience dealing with non-contentious work on behalf of our well established client based in the Gloucestershire area.
This dynamic law firm has developed to become one of the largest firms in Gloucestershire and provides comprehensive legal advice to high net worth private and commercial clients in and around Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas.
This rare opportunity has just arisen for an experienced Private Client / Non-Contentious Solicitor to join the firm to supervise staff and help further develop the department’s rapid growth. This progressive and respected law firm provides an extensive range of legal advice and services to corporate, commercial and private clients and regards this as an important strategic appointment in the continuing expansion of the firm's already successful business.
Ideally the firm is looking for a Solicitor who is looking for a serious stepping stone to partnership as a long term career with the firm will lead to a partner offering for the right applicant.
Duties to include:
• Providing advice and acting as a 'point of contact' for HNW, business and farming clients.
• Dealing with investment and agricultural properties and high-value properties (as well as general complex property matters).
• Advising on IHT and CGT issues (a full working knowledge of wills and probate/estate administration would be useful).
• Acting as trustee (small trusts usually with a managed portfolio and accountants).
• Providing advice on non-contentious matters for less experienced solicitors.
• Developing the non-contentious work of the firm.
• Taking over many of the long term clients of the retiring Senior Partner.
Salary – To £60,000 + Commission (Awarded to reflect experience, skills, clients and expectations).
Start Date - ASAP
