Frances Armstrong Associates LLP is currently seeking a Solicitor or Filex with between 2 – 4 years experience to join our client’s top ranking legal 500 commercial insurance litigation team based in Reading

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a solicitor with 2-4 years pqe or a FILEX equivalent that is keen to develop their skills with one of the country’s fast growing law firms.

The successful applicant will assist an Associate with more complex cases in addition to managing their own case load on a day to day basis. You will have at least two years experience dealing with fast and multi-track defendant and / or claimant EL / PL and product liability work to be successful in this role.

Applicants should have

• 2-4 years pqe or a FILEX equivalent experience dealing with fast and multi-track defendant and / or claimant EL / PL and product liability work
• A proven track record of running a demanding case load.
• A genuine interest in insurance law
• Be enthusiastic and ambitious
• The ability to work unsupervised and demonstrate a high calibre of analytical skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• A great team player as management of less experienced fee earners will be required
• Some business development and marketing skills would also be an advantage.
• Experience of commercial insurance coverage issues and subrogated recoveries would be an advantage.
