On behalf of this exclusive city client, Frances Armstrong Associates LLP is currently seeking an entrepreneurial Family Law Solicitor with litigation experience to join this 150 year old Law firm situated in the Prestigious Hyde Park area of Central London.

This rare opportunity has just arisen for an experienced Family Solicitor to assume responsibility for undertaking existing work and to further develop this department in line with the firm’s rapid plans of growth. This progressive forward thinking city firm provides an extensive range of legal advice and services to corporate, commercial and private clients, in which client cross-selling opportunities are assured for any entrepreneurial Solicitor.

Prospective applicants will be enthusiastic, forward-thinking Solicitors with some preferred demonstrable experience in assisting the management and development of a similar department. Due to the nature of the role, proven litigation experience is essential.

Due to their highly acclaimed and powerful clientele, this firm is big news in U.K and international media circles and requires an applicant who is comfortable dealing with high profile clients.

This is an important strategic appointment for the firm and swift career progression is assured for a Solicitor with the right blend of client-handling, technical skills and business acumen.

Current Family Law Partners are encouraged to apply as this may fast track to an initial Partnership offering or an offering upon appraisal.

Role

You will be required to:

* Manage your own caseload with a full range of Family law / Litigation cases.
* Handle files from initial instruction through to completion
* Have a proactive approach to obtaining new work and promoting the services of the Dept and the firm.
* Assist in the Management of the Family division

Candidate

* A minimum of 7 years UK Family / Litigation experience.
* Proven experience in marketing Dept services.
* A current client follow is beneficial
* Management experience would also be beneficial but not essential

Salary - Up to £100,000pa + a healthy commission rate on all billings + Benefits. (Package will depend upon experience and could be more for a partner level applicant)
