Frances Armstrong Associates LLP are seeking an Employment Solicitor with at least 3 years PQE to join the Employment team of a very busy legal 500 law firm based a short walking distance from the tube in North London
The successful applicant will have a minimum of 3 years UK pqe, and will be required to run your caseload of predominantly contentious matters on behalf of employers and employees. This role will also require the successful applicant to oversee the department in the absence of the partner as well as being involved with the supervision of junior fee earners and general practice development.
As the majority of this clients claimant cases are funded under conditional fee
agreements, experience of successfully handling such cases would be an advantage.
The successful applicant will:
Have a minimum of 3 years PQE in Employment law
Be competent working in a full range of employment law matters
Be able to work with minimal supervision.
Have significant experience acting on behalf of claimants in contentious matters.
Experience of acting on behalf of respondents in contentious matters would be an advantage.
Have a proven track record of generating a high level of fee income.
Be articulate and confident, with excellent litigation and negotiation skills,
A pro active approach to case management
Have the ability to build strong relationships with clients and help attract new business.
Salary A great Salary package of up £75,000 per annum will be awarded dependent upon skills and experience, as well as an opportunity to earn a bonus of fee income.
Start date: ASAP
