LOCUM DISPUTE RESOLUTION KNOWLEDGE LAWYER - CENTRAL LONDON
Leading UK law firm is seeking a Real Estate Dispute Resolution Knowledge Lawyer to
cover a period of maternity leave for an immediate start and lasting 3 months.
Job Purpose
To provide expert, technical legal knowledge, thought leadership and the promotion of knowhow across the Commercial Dispute Resolution practice area.
Key Accountabilities
·Analyse legal developments (over and above the analysis provided by online systems including
PLC) in order to ensure that the group is in the best position to exploit new areas.
·Undertake complex research and provide detailed analysis and act as a sounding board to the group on technical legal issues.
·Regularly consult with Partners and fee earners to ensure that the know-how and training needs of the group are being met.
·Produce and amend practice notes and precedents and ensure that these reflect legal and commercial changes.
·Administer the content of the Dispute Resolution pages of the Knowledge Database
·Identify and develop opportunities to offer knowledge products and services to clients.
·Draft material for and deliver agreed internal and client training programmes and promote cross-group training to make use of firm-wide expertise.
·Lead knowledge-sharing workshops and ensure that all relevant know-how is recorded and circulated appropriately.
·Influence and persuade senior members of the group to contribute to the
development of the group's know-how and training.
·Promote the group across the firm and network externally.
