The key elements of the role are as follows: Training: · Plan, develop and implement training schedule to include know-how sessions and other training events as required · Identify areas of specific interest · Source the delivery of training sessions · Ensure training is strategic and in line with the team's plan Knowledge Management: · Monitor legal, commercial and industry developments · Implement a KM strategy for the team that is consistent with that of the firm · Review and make recommendations in respect of updaters, journals and other resources available · Liaise over relevant legal developments with other parts of the firm · High level legal research · Build and develop the team's know-how collection · Provide ad hoc KM support to other parts of the Banking & Lender Services Group Business Development · Write client on-line updates and briefings · Prepare client seminars and workshops · Develop a client training programme · Write for relevant legal and industry journals Drafting: · Administer, monitor, update and maintain the team's precedent system · Draft and source precedents and practice notes as required Sector Focus · Working closely with other members of the Knowledge Management team to co-ordinate professional support to the Financial Services Sector Group
