My client is an in-house legal team who serve a public sector organisation in South Glamorgan, South Wales. They are seeking to recruit a bright and ambitious Paralegal or Legal Officer who will undertake legal work within the area of property, procurement and highways law.
This is an on-going, full time assignment and is guaranteed for at least three months. This legal services team is progressive and inclusive. The team is seeking an individual who will bring with them working knowledge of commercial and/or highways law along with strong communication skills, the ability to adhere to strict deadlines and strong word processing and IT skills.
The ideal candidate will be educated to at least A Level standard. A further Legal qualification such as a law degree or ILEX qualification would be advantageous. Applicant's should have experience of working in a legal office as a paralegal and should have experience of advising clients and drafting legal documents.
Duties will include:
* Preparing traffic regulation orders and notices
* Preparing other statutory notices relating to highway matters
* Collating and preparing contract/commercial documentation
* Providing paralegal assistance to Lawyers within the team
* Undertaking administrative tasks
Hourly rate is negotiable dependent upon experience but candidates can expect an offer of £11 - £14 per hour.
