A 5 year plus PQE Solicitor is required to work closely with the entire Dispute Resolution team and undertake fee-earning work and provide a profitable contribution to the work of the team of our law firm clients. The role will require a modern and commercial approach to disputes.

You will draft court documents, such as: pleadings, witness statements, statements of costs, cost schedules and orders; property notices under sections 25-27 and 40 LTA 1954, section 146 notices, section 8 notices, section 21 notices, and TIWGA notice and concise letters/emails of advice and correspondence to opponents and third parties.

You must have experience of contested and uncontested business lease renewals under the LTA 1954, Dilapidations claims, Possession claims, Service charge claims, Easement and restrictive covenant disputes, Proprietary estoppel claims, Injunctions, Party Wall Act disputes and Enfranchisement and, have an understanding of risk and best practice and a commitment to a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

The role would require you to work with the team on commercial disputes as well as contentious property disputes.

A significant and substantial part of the role will be to proactively engage in Business Development and Marketing and with the assistance of the team develop and implement a Business Development and Marketing plan tailored to the Thames Valley market. There will be a significant opportunity to generate your own work and networks for the Thames Valley.
