An opportunity has arisen for a senior and highly experienced Commercial Solicitor to join the In-house team of a well-known and growing Telecoms business, based in Berkshire. The role would be perfect for someone with more than 10 years PQE, ideally mostly spent In-house, with experience in a range of technology/IT focussed commercial contracts. Salary is in the region of £90-100k.
This one-of-a-kind business provides services to a number of businesses across the UK and, through its operations, encourages investment in new products and improved service in its industry. This is a brand new role to the business and the successful Commercial Solicitor will join a small team of industry experts, advising on the full scope of legal matters and issues in the Telecoms sector.
You will draft, negotiate, and advise on NDAs, variation and consultancy agreements, software licenses, and support the business with negotiations with third party suppliers, compliance, and contractual disputes. The successful Solicitor will also manage external Solicitors, manage internal and external stakeholders, and advise on Board resolutions and corporate governance.
Applications are invited from experienced Commercial Solicitors and candidates should have experience of leading negotiations on deals ranging in value from £10-100m in value. Applicants need to demonstrate commercial flair, and will understand the commercial pressures of the Telecoms industry.
