Senior Costs Lawyer/Draftsman
An experienced Senior Costs Lawyer/Draftsman is wanted to hit the ground running on department with a top 100 UK law firm. A challenging and varied opportunity the Senior Costs Draftsman will be responsible for a range of high value matters to include various personal injury and Clinical negligence work.
Applications are invited from successful Costs Lawyers with a combination of strong technical skills and a nose for a business opportunity. Excellent London based opportunity with salary negotiable and dependent on experience. The role will involve some "passing on of knowledge" but is not supervisory.
The successful candidate will be expected to hit the ground running in a successful environment, providing dedicated costs support for litigation lawyers across several UK based offices. Responsible for the management of a complex, high value caseload the individual will be drafting points of dispute, schedules of costs, bills of costs/budgets, negotiating costs to settlement and by the provision of additional supporting services such as managing and attending CCMCs/detailed assessment hearings where instructed to do so by lawyers with conduct of the file.
