JOB TITLE: Residential Conveyancing Assistant
PQE REQUIRED: 2 years+ experience
SALARY: circa £25,000 to £30,000
This high profile and infectiously positive Residential Conveyancing team are seeking a talented conveyancer, legal executive or newly-qualified Solicitor to join their expanding firm.
The successful candidate will be specifically advising on completions and post-completion matters on new build developments within a small, welcoming team. Core tasks will include overseeing/organising the upcoming completions within the team, reviewing and dealing with lender requirements on mortgage offers in the run up to completion, preparing files for completion, liaising with clients/dealing with client queries, pre completion searches and Land Registry searches, financial statements, preparing completion paperwork, and post completion work (Land Registry applications, SDLTs, sending docs to lenders and closing files.) You will act as a core point of contact for clients, including those based internationally.
This role would be best suited to a Legal executive or NQ Solicitor with at least 2 years of experience in residential property matters and a commitment to furthering their career within this specialism. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and will be confident in managing your own caseload with minimal supervision. Experience of reviewing mortgage offers and dealing with international lenders is desirable.
