An opportunity has arisen for an experienced conveyancing solicitor or legal executive to join this well established and recognised full service law firm located in Middlesbrough. The firm was founded over 70 years ago and services the legal needs of corporate and private clients throughout the North East of England. The firm adopts and friendly and straightforward approach to client service which is evident in the many personal recommendations the practice receives on a regular basis. The firm is committed to investing in the ongoing training and development of its lawyers and the firm prides itself on its collaborative team and professional approach to legal services.
An experienced conveyancer is now sought to join the Middlesbrough office property team as a team leader. You will be a solicitor or legal executive with a minimum of 3 years' experience handling the full remit of conveyancing transactions. This is a great opportunity for a lawyer to manage and develop upon the existing property offering where the team currently undertakes a range of residential and commercial property transactions. In addition, there will be an expectation to ensure the firms continued accreditation with CQS.
Types of files the department handles include sales and purchases, help to buy, re-mortgages, new builds, lease extensions and buy to let. You will have a proven track record in making an active contribution to business development and enjoy building and maintaining client relationships. Experience of freehold and leasehold commercial work is desirable but not essential.
