Due to recent success and growth in the department, my legal client are now in the fortunate position to recruit an experienced legal secretary into their Private Client Department for a full-time, permanent position. This role would be suitable for someone with previous experience working within a Private Client Department, although this is not essential if you have strong background and experience working in the legal sector as a secretary using a case management system.
The role is to provide support the Private Client fee earners and paralegals enabling them to work at optimum efficiency. Training will be provided, if required, in supporting Fee Earners in this specific area of law.
You should be proficient in using your own initiative in order to progress matters and be confident with client and colleague contact in order to provide updates to clients and the fee earners throughout the firm.
A flexible approach, quick and accurate typing and being able to deal with clients from all backgrounds in a friendly but professional manner both face to face and over the telephone are skills also required.
You will work as part of a team in maintaining administrative processes and the client database; having a good understanding and working knowledge of using the Microsoft Office Suite and experience using a case management system.
