This is a fixed-term 6-month position (may be extended but no guarantees at the moment) to assist in the implementation of contractual requirements for the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) Project based in Hertfordshire - salary £32,000 - £38,000. This role is offered on a full time basis or part-time/flexible working (80%) basis and our client is keen for someone to join them asap.
In this role you will assist with the analysis of requirements under the GDPR, including guidance given by the Article 29 Working Group and the Information Commissioner's Office.
You will draft template clauses for: New Controller to Processor contracts, New Controller to Controller contracts, Existing Controller to Processor contracts and Existing Controller to Controller contracts.
You will need to remediate existing contracts and Data Sharing Protocols so that they comply with the requirements of the GDPR and undertake other tasks required as part of the company-wide GDPR Project.
It is essential that you have contract drafting experience (attention to detail is paramount), experience of working with non-contentious contracts and some knowledge of data protection law. You will be joining a friendly team of 4 made up of 3 solicitors and 1 administrator.
