Personal injury paralegal – Catastrophic Injury

PERSONAL INJURY PARALEGAL – CATASTROPHIC INJURY – MANCHESTER

Personal injury paralegal – This is an exciting opportunity for a junior paralegal with RTA or EL/PL experience to join the team headed by one of the leading names in high value, complex catastrophic injury matters.

KEY FACTS

Job Title: Paralegal

Location: Manchester

Salary: £15,000 - £20,000

Reports to: Partner

Expertise: Ideally candidates should have excellent academics with some experience of EL/PL and/or RTA. This is a highly specialised area and candidates should be able to demonstrate a keen understanding and ambition to develop their expertise in this area.

WORK UNDERTAKEN BY THE TEAM

You will be assisting a Partner who focuses their time advising a host of blue-chip clients on highly complex catastrophic and large loss matters. These are precedent setting matters which are exceedingly high value.

The work could involve anything from establishing case chronologies, analysing witness statements, liaising with counsel, assisting at trial and so on. The Partner is also a respected commentator in the market, giving you the chance to be involved in seminars and presentations covering industry developments.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

This is a junior paralegal role, though any previous experience of general personal injury would be very useful, though experience of catastrophic work is not a pre-requisite. Excellent academics are also important.

A genuine interest and passion to develop your skills in this area is just as crucial. The Partner is looking for people he can train, develop and work with. Training in such a specialised area involves a considerable amount of investment, so candidates should certainly be passionate about building a long-term career with the firm.
