Venn Group's specialist legal team are excited to be recruiting for an experienced Locum Litigation Legal Assistant to join a Local Authority in the West Midlands, commutable from Birmingham.
This position is offered on a full-time locum basis with an initial contract length of at least 3 months with the possibility of extension. Previous experience of working within a Local Authority environment is essential, however candidates who have gained strong experience within an area of law other than Litigation will also be considered.
The main duties for the role are as follows:
* To assist a team of Lawyers in the provision of a professional legal service to a range of public sector clients regarding litigation matters
* Responsible for drafting of injunctions, summons, planning agreements and highways agreements
The position is offering an attractive rate of between £15 and £25 per hour depending on experience.
Flexible working hours and candidates who wish to work on a part-time basis will also be considered, however the client is ideally seeking support on a full-time basis.
