I am currently recruiting for a leading Law firm based in Petworth. Due to expansion, the firm is now looking for a Legal Secretary to join their growing Property team.
The successful Legal Secretary will be able to provide an excellent secretarial service across the department and possess accurate and timely Audio typing of correspondence and Copy typing. The primary role of a Legal Secretary is to provide direct support to their Principal, together with other support staff, to enable the Principal to operate at maximum effectiveness and efficiency. The Legal Secretary is expected to use a high degree of self-management and initiative.
You will be able to prioritise your workload and assist the secretarial/office team during peaks in workload. The Secretary will also be able to work well under pressure and will be able to deal with clients queries, giving information from files and explaining procedures. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Legal Secretary with proven Conveyancing experience seeking a new challenge with an award winning firm.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Previous Legal Secretarial experience in a Conveyancing
• Good word-processing and audio typing skills
• Good knowledge of legal forms
• To be an effective communicator, both orally and in writing, having a good command of the English language
• Efficient and well organised, with good control of diary and time management
• Location: Petworth
• Salary range (DOE): £20,000-£23,000
• Job type: Permanent
