ROLE: Industrial Disease Litigation Executive
SALARY: £17,000 - £22,000
HOURS: Full Time

Our client is one of the UK's largest and well known personal injury law firms with offices in a number of locations throughout England, Scotland and Wales. Due to expansion and growth they are looking for a litigation executive to join their newly formed industrial disease team in Liverpool.
This presents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual who is interested in furthering their career dealing with challenging, complex cases such as noise induced hearing loss, work related stress, asthma, vibration white finger and other chemical poisonings.
Responsibilities to include : -
Assisting and Handling a caseload of complex ID and stress claims
dealing with disclosure including but not limited to applying for and analysing Medical Records
Preparing court bundles
Updating the case management system
Interviewing witnesses and drafting witness statements
Attending client meetings
Attending conferences and Court to sit behind Counsel
Drafting pleadings, interlocutory applications, directions questionnaires
Requirements Needed: -
A good law degree or legal academic background such as ILEX study & LLM or LPC
You should also possess previous experience gained at a law firm assisting with litigated files or handling pre litigated industrial disease files
The ability to effectively communicate with a variety of people both verbally as well as in writing is also integral to this role as are strong IT skills
Our client will provide training and progression.
