A well-known Property business, specialising in the Retail industry, is looking for a Solicitor or Legal Executive to join their experienced Lease Management team based in London. The role would be perfect for a Solicitor or Legal Executive, with around 5 years' experience, who is looking for a move away from a traditional practicing role. Salary is dependent on individual experience, although in the region of £55-60k.
Whilst the majority of their properties are based in the UK, this successful business has a thriving property portfolio across Europe. They own, manage, and develop their properties whilst working with Retailers and other commercial partners to attract consumers and work alongside local communities.
The successful Solicitor or Legal Executive will work as part of the Lease Management team, reporting into the Head of Lease Management, and will advise on the negotiation of lease renewals and new leases. You will be responsible for; supporting colleagues on the negotiation of lease renewal heads of terms and legal documentation, ensuring lease renewals are instructed and progressed in line with lease and court timetables (including liaising with external Solicitors), assisting on new lettings, attending leasing meetings with retained agents, and supporting projects to improve efficiency.
Applications are invited from qualified and non-qualified legal professionals with significant experience in commercial real estate. It is preferred that candidates have extensive experience in retail leasing, alongside being a confident communicator.
