This is a new mandate for a commercial lawyer with a non contentious insurance background c 5 + 8 PQE to join an established in house legal department of an international and fast growing business.
To be considered for this business facing opportunity, the successful candidate will be expected to work along side stakeholders and business teams, managing a diverse and interesting workload. Key aspects of this role will include
Provision of commercial, strategic and legal advice on Insurance matters with an emphasis on regulatory, marketing and consumer related issues with a focus on distribution agreements
Commercial/IT work, outsourcing arrangements, distribution and supplier contacts, technology and e commerce agreements
Other aspects will include Risk Management, TCF, Financial Services, Data Protection,
The post holder will expect to participate in the preparation and delivery of in house legal training programmes
To be considered for this varied and challenging in house role, applicants will have relevant commercial experience, a background in the technology, insurance or regulatory sector would be of particular interest.
