Private Client & Charities
The Private Client & Charities Practice Group deals with a wide variety of core Private Client work including Trust Administration, Succession Planning, Executry Administration (including complex and contentious executries), Charity Law and Wills/Powers of Attorney.
Purpose of role
An opportunity has arisen for an Associate in our Glasgow/Edinburgh office, although Glasgow would be the preferred location.
Those wishing to be based out of our Edinburgh office will be required to spend three days in the Glasgow office.
The successful candidate will enjoy working in a highly productive environment where individuals gain exposure to high quality work and opportunities to develop. The role will involve carrying out a wide range of core private client work, including Wills, Powers of Attorney, Executry Administration, Trust Administration, charity law and estate planning.
Candidates should have a proven ability within Private Client, to work effectively both individually and as part of a dynamic team. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to work to tight deadlines within a commercially driven environment.
The successful candidate would be expected to run their own case load under the supervision of a Partner.
Required experience, skills and attributes
The STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates would be preferable but is not essential.
