EMPLOYMENT SOLICITOR (3-5PQE)
MATERNITY COVER - 12 MONTHS
Legal Works client is a well-respected and ranked Central London practice that has been recognised as a leading firm for employment law.
The TEAM provides practical & commercial strategic advice to employers and employees on all aspects of employment law.
Areas of particular expertise include redundancy and restructuring advice, employee reward and incentives and employment litigation.
In the global economy the TEAM is equipped to advise on issues arising out of multi-jurisdictional secondments, transfers and restructurings.
The TEAM is looking to provide maternity cover for an assistant solicitor who is scheduled to leave shortly.
It is envisaged that the role will run for up to 12 months.
The work will cover the full gamut of employment matters contentious and non-contentious.
*You will have circa 3-5PQE experience of stand-alone employment law;
*You should be comfortable dealing with contractual & other employment issues that arise throughout the employment relationship and on transactions, especially in relation to TUPE.
*Exposure to dealing with owner managers setting up their employment and HR structures, drafting contracts and policies and working with HR and in-house lawyers in delivering the HR/employment law service to their business will also be of interest;
*You will arrive with an excellent career pedigree to date at a named law firm or employment law department;
*You will be comfortable dealing with clients direct, as well as showing great communication skills & be at ease working in a team environment.
