My client is an impressive national practice which has continued to expand over the last few years including the opening of new offices and the recruitment of a number of key lateral hires across the country.
The firm is now seeking to recruit an ambitious employment solicitor for its Birmingham office to work as part of a busy team which deals primarily with clients within the education sector, particularly Further Education and Higher Education establishments.
You will be a capable solicitor, likely to have accrued around 2-3yrs PQE or equivalent, and will have dealt with education clients as part of your regular caseload. It is likely that you will have worked on both contentious and non-contentious matters, advising respondents on a broad cross-section of employment issues including discrimination claims, employment contracts, staff handbooks, wrongful dismissal and also any implications which may arise from academy conversions.
